What is the 5% platform fee
The 5% platform fee is only charged on paid ticket sales. Free events have no fees at all. This fee covers payment processing, secure transactions, and platform maintenance. It’s one of the lowest rates in the industry for a full-featured event platform.
How do payouts work?
Payouts are processed directly to your bank account. You can choose your preferred currency and add your bank details in the app. After your event, payouts are typically processed within 3-5 business days. You can track all your earnings and payout history in real-time from your dashboard.
What are AI Tokens and how do they work?
AI Tokens power our smart photo discovery feature, which uses facial recognition to help attendees quickly find photos they appear in. Every new user gets 2 free tokens at sign-up. Each token allows you to search through event photos using your face. Additional tokens can be purchased, and Pro users get access to bulk token packages.
Can I use FotoPool for free events?
Absolutely! FotoPool is completely free for events that don’t require ticketing. You can create unlimited events, manage guests, and use all photo pooling features at no cost. The 5% fee only applies when you sell paid tickets.
What payment methods are supported
We support all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), as well as digital wallets. Payment processing is handled securely through our payment partners, ensuring your transactions are safe and compliant with international standards.
How is my event data protected
Security is a top priority. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and comply with GDPR. You have full control over who can access your event photos and can set privacy controls for each event.
